There are numerous opportunities for parents and the community to participate in the life of the school through volunteering, sponsoring programs, and mentoring. All community members and parents are welcome and encouraged to join our Core Advisory Group whose mission is to connect classrooms, careers, businesses, and communities to create a systematic change that positively impacts the future workforce. Together we will work to develop and facilitate strategies to support the vision, mission, and goals of our theme: Career Exploration.
:: Core Advisory Group Now in Session! Join us!
JCT is currently looking for parent volunteers to help with the organization of school functions and events. The Core Advisory Group is responsible for organizing events, fundraising, and planning events for the student body at JCT. All parents are urged to become a member of the Core Advisory Group. By becoming a member you can help relieve the strains often handled by a select few parents or that fall into the hands of staff members. The Core Advisory Group will meet several times throughout the year in order to schedule and plan events for all of our children. These meetings usually take place at the JCT Conference room located inside the main office. These meetings are usually 1hr in duration. The more parents that are willing to become part of this group insures the success of the events that our children look forward to each year. We encourage all parents that wish to become involved in this very important group to please attend the first meeting of the school year on August 16th at 4:00pm in the school's conference room.
